The Lanakila
On our dolphin snorkel cruise we will search for the Hawaiian Spinner Dolphins and other marine mammals that frequent the coastal waters. By beginning our journey in the early morning, we plan to meet the dolphins before they begin their sleep cycle. At this time of day the dolphins are playful and love to frolic in the waves. Then, when the dolphins begin to circle the boat, we will accept their invitation and get into the water to swim with them. Our crew will divide participants into small groups to enhance the experience and to maximize dolphin interaction

Kealakekua BayOn route, we will pass several historical sites including beautiful Kealakekua Bay, a pristine marine preserve, where the dolphins like to play. Kealakekua Bay is where Captain James Cook landed and met his demise in a dispute with the Hawaiians in 1778. A monument accross the bay (Kikiau Heiau)
marks the exact spot where Captian Cook fell and is the place of worship where priests offered reverence to Captain Cook in1779, believing that he was the god Lono returning to them as promised
Quite often we are accompanied by dolphins that love to ride our bow waves and put on quite a spectacular show.
Have your camera ready as photos of you and your loved one with these marvelous creatures will renew cherished memories for years to come.
